Cardi B Shows Shouts Out Colin Kaepernick at 2017 VMAs: 'We Gonna Be Standing for You'

Despite struggling to find a new home on the NFL gridiron, Colin Kaepernick still has the support of the music community. On Sunday (Aug. 27), Cardi B showed her allegiance to the embattled star when she shouted him out during the 2017 VMAs. 

"Colin Kaepernick, as long as you kneel with us, we gonna be standing for you baby," said the "Bodak Yellow" MC. 

Cardi isn't the first artist to come out and support the NFL quarterback. Lupe Fiasco, Chuck D, J. Cole, T.I., Chris Brown and John Legend have all chimed in on Kaepernick's valiant efforts against police brutality. Check out Cardi's shout-out below.
