With the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards set to hit the fabulous Forum on Sunday (Aug 27), we asked everyone from Sigrid to Jonas Blue what they were most excited about leading up to the big show.

Cheat Codes’ Matthew Russell: “I hear Miley [Cyrus]’s back! We can’t wait to see what she does next!”

Kygo: “Super excited about this year’s show and even more excited about my nomination for ‘It Ain’t Me.’ Can’t wait to see what happens!”

Fitz and the Tantrums’s Noelle Scaggs: "I am really looking forward to Harry Styles’ shirt choice as well as Kendrick Lamar's visual performance this year."

Young The Giant's Sameer Gadhia: "It’s always incredible to see the room jump when Kendrick hits the stage. Can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve!"

Digital Farm Animals: “Being jealous about not performing this year whilst making a plan to host next year. Living that #PigLife.”

Post Malone: "No better way to end the summer than this year's VMAs. Looking forward to attending and getting weird. I may even have a surprise for y'all!"

Sir Rosevelt’s Niko Moon: "I'm most excited to see Kendrick Lamar. I've got a feeling it's going to be the moment of the night!”

Sigrid: "I'm VERY excited for the VMAs 'cause I'll be watching the whole thing from my computer. Watching live performances is probably my biggest hobby. Kendrick Lamar, Lorde AND Katy Perry. OMG, I'm ready for this!"

Jonas Blue: “Looking forward to seeing how smoking hot Katy Perry will be!”

Loote’s Emma Lov: “We're excited to see what everyone's wearing because we love how eccentric the fashion gets at the VMAs! We're also looking forward to seeing some of our biggest influences perform!”

AJR’s Jack Met: “The VMAs are a show with an air of unpredictability. In the past, artists have used the platform to make surprising announcements, debut new music, or perform in ways that you would never expect. We are looking forward to being surprised.”

Saint Motel’s A/J Jackson: “I’m most excited to see if anyone shows up wearing the same outfit as the VMA Award itself, ‘cause that’d be dope.  Seems only appropriate that someone pay homage to the original music video pioneers…NASA."
