VMAs 2016: 'Saturday Night Live' Alum Jay Pharoah Preparing New Mixtape 'Phornication'

After bidding adieu to Saturday Night Live following six seasons of LOLs, multi-talented comic and master impressionist Jay Pharoah says he is working on a new mixtape called Phornication... seriously.

"Yes, you can expect a mixtape coming out. I think I'm gonna call it Phornication," he told Billboard on the white carpet ahead of the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (Aug. 28). "I go in -- no holds barred. I sing, I rap. I got Myle William, who did [Beyonce's] "Freedom" with Just Blaze, producing it. I've got Roc, who used to be with Timbaland, producing some of the tracks."

He adds, "It's a lot of people and it's a fun project. I've done so much of it." The set follows his 2014 mixtape The Resurrection.
