Apple Music's Beats 1 Stops Working During Exclusive VMA Noms Announcement
With Apple Music's Beats 1 set radio to exclusively announce the nominees for MTV's 2015 Video Music Awards on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. ET, it was looking like a big get for the new streaming service.
Unfortunately for many fans, Beats 1 stopped working right around the time the online radio platform was set to announce the 2015 VMA nominees.
After pressing play on the Beats 1 icon, it appeared to load up for a split second before stopping. Numerous Twitter users reported the same problem from around the country, both on desktop and mobile. While some users seemed to have gained access after initial troubles, many others continued to complain about being unable to load Beats 1 for the first half hour of the VMAs announcements.
Billboard reached out to an Apple rep for comment and did not hear back at press time.
