Watch Lady Gaga Perform 'Til It Happens to You' at the 2016 Oscars

Lady Gaga got a seriously VIP introduction to her performance of "Til It Happens To You" at the 2016 Oscars. 

Vice President Joe Biden gave a passionate speech highlighting the Obama administration's "It's On Us" campaign to prevent sexual assault. "Too many women and men on and off college campuses are victims of sexual abuse," Vice President Biden said in his moving remarks, before introducing Gaga to perform her song from the film The Hunting Ground

Clad in all white while playing the piano, Gaga delivered a passionate and moving performance of her song, which ended with dozens of survivors of sexual assault joining her on stage for an emotional, powerful moment, which earned a sustained standing ovation from the crowd. 

Lady Gaga, a favorite to win best original song at the 2016 Oscars, lost to Sam Smith.
