Drummer Chris Slade confirmed the news yesterday (Feb. 7) via Facebook, saying, "YES the drum stool is under OLD management!" The drummer played in AC/DC between 1989 and 1994, and will now accompany the band on its upcoming 2015 tour.
Slade was brought back into the fold after old drummer Phil Rudd became estranged from the group when he was charged with threatening to kill an man in his employ in late 2014.
New album Rock Or Bust dropped Nov. 28 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart with 172,000 sold. It also debuted at No. 1 on Hard Rock Albums and No. 3 on the Billboard 200, where AC/DC scored its ninth top 10.
