Billboard launched the annual Fan Army Face-Off on Wednesday, and millions of music fans from around the globe have already submitted their votes for the first round, which ends July 26. Few races are as tight right now as what’s going on in round one between MooMoos and Buddys, the fan armies of K-pop girl groups Mamamoo and GFriend.

The two fandoms had fierce debuts on this year’s Fan Army Face-Off bracket, and two days in, on Thursday (July 20), they're holding close with just over 1,000 votes dividing them.

As of publishing, GFriend’s Buddys have 192,827 votes, while Mamamoo’s MooMoos are close behind with 191,416 votes.

Both of the girl groups are fan favorites and regulars on the World Albums chart, with Mamamoo’s funky songs and Gfriends sweet synthpop making them two of K-pop’s most popular young female acts. Mamamoo recently released their Purple EP and the electro-soul single “Yes I Am,” while Gfriend plan to drop a new EP, Parallel, on Aug. 1.

With such a small gap between the two fan armies, only time will tell which one will advance into the second round when the first round ends July 26. Fans have less than a week left, so vote now for your fave!
