After 12 consecutive years in New York, 11 of them at historic Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, the 13th Annual Billboard Touring Conference & Awards will take its industry-leading gathering of the I’ve music business to the West Coast for a year, with November dates and the official site to be announced in the coming days.

With its myriad networking opportunities and compelling discussions driven by the industry thought leaders on the most timely topics of the day, the Billboard Touring Conference quickly became a can’t-miss conference for elite-level speakers and attendees alike. Those taking part in previous events include Roger Waters, Gene Simmons, Chris Cornell, Bob Seger, Skrillex, Mark Cuban, Journey, Perry Farrell, Brad Paisley  Irving Azoff, Gregg Allman, Coran Capshaw, Jason Aldean, George Strait, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Kenny Chesney, Michael Rapino, Florida Georgia Line, Warren Haynes, Rob Light, Todd Boehly, Paul McGuinness, Jay Marciano, and many others in a virtual who’s who of relevant, impactful executives and artists in the thriving contemporary live business.

The Billboard Touring Awards, the only live music awards show that honors acts, executives, venues, agents, managers, and events based primarily on data generated by Billboard Boxscore, has become one of the most powerful and fun gatherings in the industry.

“After 12 successful years, including three consecutive sellouts, in New York, we felt now was the right time to try our event on the West Coast,” says Ray Waddell, Billboard’s executive director of content and programming for touring and live entertainment, who has programmed every Billboard Touring Conference. “Given the large number of agents, managers, label executives, artists, promoters and others associated with live entertainment, and the music business at large, located in and around Los Angeles, as well as the venue managers and touring-related executives in the Western half of the U.S., we know we will be able to program a timely, informative and fun event. We’re thrilled about ’taking the best West., and this year we’re confident we will take on the most issues of the music industry for today and tomorrow.'”
