Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins of OneRepublic perform onstage during the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 18, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I'll definitely have to bring my A game," says the songwriter/producer on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet.

OneRepublic rocked the 2014 Billboard Music Awards with a performance of their Top 5 hit "Counting Stars" on Sunday night (May 18), and before taking the stage, the group talked to Billboard's Keith Caulfield about their show-building hit and the new edition of their 2013 album "Native." Frontman Ryan Tedder also let it slip that he'll be rejoining Adele in the studio soon, to work on her long-awaited follow-up to "21."

"I know I'm going back in with her," said Tedder, "and so, if there's any kind of time crunch, I'll definitely have to bring my A game. I know that much."

Earlier this month, Adele teased new music on Twitter by hinting that her next album, which would follow "19" and "21," would be titled "25." Tedder previously co-wrote and produced "Rumour Has It" from "21."
