Robin Thicke Performing at Billboard Music Awards
Robin Thicke is the latest performer set to light up the 2014 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday.
The R&B crooner will take the mic at the May 18 ceremony in Las Vegas, where he joins previously announced performers including Shakira, Katy Perry, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Florida Georgia Line, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Lorde, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, OneRepublic, Pitbull, and Ricky Martin.
Thicke is a finalist in seven categories this year, including Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album and Top Hot 100 Song, for his smash single "Blurred Lines," which spent 12 weeks atop the Hot 100. The track, which features Pharrell and T.I., has sold 7 million copies, making it the 8th biggest song download of all time. Thicke's latest album, also dubbed "Blurred Lines," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 731,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Thicke's song choice has not been confirmed at this time, however, TMZ is reporting the singer will debut a new track called "Get Her Back."
Ludacris is hosting this year's BBMAs, which will air on ABC. Confirmed presenters include Shania Twain, Phillip Phillips, Josh Groban, Lucy Hale and Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff.

The BBMAs, which are produced by dick clark productions, will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. Yahoo will be streaming this year's red carpet show.
