Twenty One Pilots to Perform at 2018 American Music Awards

The American Music Awards are just around the corner, and the all-star roster of performers just keeps on expanding. Twenty One Pilots will be taking the stage at this year's ceremony to perform "Jumpsuit," dick clark productions announced Friday (Oct. 5).

The two-time AMA winners took home the prize for alternative rock artist and duo or group - pop/rock in 2016. They were also nominated for alternative rock artist in 2017.

The duo will join previously-announced 2018 AMAs performers Ella Mai; Shawn Mendes, Zedd and Camila Cabello; Dua Lipa; Carrie Underwood; Mariah Carey; Taylor Swift, who will open this year's show, benny blanco, Halsey and Khalid; Cardi B with Bad Bunny and J Balvin; Ciara and Missy Elliott; and Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Panic! At The Disco will pay homage to Queen with a performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody," and there will also be a special tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.

The 2018 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Oct. 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
