Ciara, Missy Elliott and Dua Lipa Set to Perform at 2018 American Music Awards

Previously-announced artists include Cardi B, Post Malone, Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood.

Adding to the star-studded American Music Awards performance lineup, dick clark productions and ABC announced on Friday (Sept. 28) that Ciara, Missy Elliott and first-time AMA nominee Dua Lipa will be bringing their acts to this year's event.

Returning to the AMA stage for the first time since 2005, Ciara will be joined by hip-hop legend Missy Elliott for a performance of Ciara's “Level Up." Ciara will also perform “Dose,” the new single from her upcoming studio album. 

New artist of the year nominee Dua Lipa will also take the AMAs stage for the first time to perform "Electricity" and more.


Other performers include Cardi B with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, Mariah Carey, Benny Blanco with Halsey and Khalid, Post Malone featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Carrie Underwood. A moving tribute to late Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is also in the works. 

Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the AMAs will air live on Oct. 9 at 8:00 p.m EST on ABC.
