Kelly Clarkson Soars Through 'Miss Independent,' 'Love So Soft' at the 2017 AMAs

Kelly Clarkson hit the stage twice during the American Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 19) in Los Angeles. She not only kicked off the show with Pink for a moving rendition of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts," but later returned for a solo performance of an old and new hit.

A horn-heavy version of fan favorite "Miss Independent" off her 2003 album Thankful started things off, while Clarkson then seamlessly dipped into her new track "Love So Soft" off her latest album Meaning of Life.
