Rick Ross Announces New Album 'Rather You Than Me' at the 2016 AMAs

Rick Ross and DJ Khaled stopped by the red carpet before tonight's 2016 AMAs, and Ross took the opportunity to announce a new album titled Rather You Than Me.

Hitting the carpet while reading Khaled's new book, The Keys, Ross was wearing a black sweatshirt with the phrase on it, which Khaled made clear was the title of Ross' next album.

"A lot of times people ask me, Rozay, what advice can you give me to get where you at?" Ross said after acknowledging the new record, pointing to the book. "This has the keys."

The two were on hand to perform "Do You Mind," off Khaled's latest album Major Key, later in the evening alongside Nicki Minaj, Future and August Alsina.

RYTM will be Ross' ninth album, and first since signing to Epic Records earlier this year. His last album, Black Market, his last with Def Jam, came out Dec. 4, 2015 and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Stay tuned for more details on the next album from the Maybach Music Group boss.
