"There’s so many talented women out there that are strong and amazing and great writers, great singers, great musicians. There just needs to be more of us I think, because we’re awesome!" Underwood laughed.

When asked if she's bought the hotly anticipated new Adele album yet, the country star admitted she has not, claiming "I'm terrible at downloading things." She was relieved to hear that a special edition of the album is also available for sale at Target.

"It's always better when you can hold it in your hand," she said.
