Dan Reynolds and company busted out “I Bet My Life,” which will appear on the Las Vegas band’s forthcoming sophomore album. Backed by a sprawling choir, the Dragons gave the very Mumford & Sons-y track its live television premiere in grandiose fashion.

Award show stages are nothing new to Imagine Dragons. Last year, they performed "Demons" and "Radioactive" on the AMAs and rocked alongside Kendrick Lamar at the 2014 Grammys. This time around, Reynolds and his bandmates swaggered through their performance, like a young band with plenty of big stage experience. It certainly looks like the new album cycle is off to a promising start.

In its second week on the Billboard Hot 100, “I Bet My Life” currently sits at No. 89 after debuting at 53.
