The annual Make Music Day celebration returns June 21, with over 4,500 events planned in over 70 cities across the United States. The festival, which started in France in 1982, will boast massive groups of musicians delivering unrehearsed performances.

This year will feature "Usher Themed Car Karaoke" in Chattanooga, TN, a spoon play-along at the Nashville International Airport, a "Harlem to Broadway" program at Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park, and a variety of concerts at Mount Rushmore (yes, that one).

Check out the Make Music Day website for more specific details on events in various cities.
