Linkin Park's 'Waiting for the End' Shows New Beginning

Linkin Park released its newest video this morning, for "Waiting for the End," proving that the end might be a new beginning for the band.

The video is admittedly mind-blowing, looking as if it was created using an X-ray generator. Yet the faces and bodies of band members are enveloped in constellations, suggesting that Linkin Park is trapped in some sort of dark, twisted solar system.

Frontman Chester Bennington sings: "All I want to do / Is trade this life for something new / Holding on to what I haven't got," suggesting an existentialist side from the band. Don't think you have Linkin Park pinned quite yet.

"Waiting for the End" was released this week as the second single off the band's fourth album, "A Thousand Suns," which reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart this week.
