Last night (Nov. 3) on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," Cudi showcased a new song, titled "MANIAC," which features indie songstress St. Vincent and rapper Cage. The performance starts with a sampling of St. Vincent's ethereal track "The Strangers" leading Cudi into, "I am the maniac, I am the ghoul."
Removing his glasses and eerily looking into the audience while singing, Cudi resembled, in an odd way, a classic Hollywood villain. With a haunting, creepy song like this, Halloween is just getting its second wind.

Cage delivers the second verse, which gave more meaning to the theme seeing as the rapper has spent some time in a psychiatric center. Meanwhile, Cudi plays the guitar, a hobby that has been taking precedent over rapping as he forms a band for his next project.
"Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager" hits stores Tuesday (Nov. 9). On a side note, we're hoping his collaboration with St. Vincent brings the talented singer/guitarist more attention!
