Bjork Leads Karaoke Marathon in Iceland
Bjork kicked off a three-day karaoke marathon Thursday (Jan. 6) as part of her campaign to protect the natural resources of her home country Iceland.

Bjork has already gathered more than 20,000 signatures on a petition demanding that "Icelandic natural resources shall be owned and governed by the public." Her goal is for at least another 15,000 people to sign on during the singing event.
The drive is intended to revoke Canadian Magma Energy's acquisition agreement of Icelandic energy company HS Orka, according to Iceland Review.
