How Well Will Kanye West's 'Fantasy' Do First Week?

Kanye West dresses classy but relaxed in slippers on the red carpet of the 2010 New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala in NYC on Sept. 21.

Kanye West's highly-anticipated "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album hits stores today (Nov. 22) and to celebrate the long-awaited release -- which most are dubbing the best album of the year -- The Juice is polling readers on their predictions on his first week sales numbers.

Back in 2007, Kanye West was part of one of the most-talked about friendly competitions in hip-hop, when rapper 50 Cent bet his entire career if his upcoming "Curtis" sold less than 'Ye's "Graduation." We all know how that battle ended: Kanye sold 957,000 albums, topping the Billboard 200 chart that week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, while 50 came in second with 691,000.

Now, it seems Kanye is about to set another record. Although Nicki Minaj, Lloyd Banks and Ke$ha, among others, are dropping albums today as well, word on the interweb is that 'Ye will not only most likely have the top-selling album this week, but that "Fantasy" is the best album of all of 2010. Pitchfork gave it a perfect "10" and the New York Times called it "terrific -- of course it's terrific." Now we're asking you -- what do you think? Make sure to cast your vote now.
