New Jay Z material is hard to come by. As the VIP investor of music streaming service Tidal, prolific rapper and husband to one of the most powerful women in music, one can argue that Hov's studio time is limited.

DJ Absolut, however, delivered an unreleased track from the Brooklyn boy during the 15th installment of his “Mixtape Monday” series called "The Black Gangster." The rare gem was originally titled “This Life Forever” and appeared on both Jay’s 1999 Black Gangster project and the 2003 mixtape S. Carter Collection.

Jay Z’s last effort, 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release.
