Lil Wayne performs during Billboard Hot 100 Festival - Day 1 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 22, 2015 in Wantagh, New York.

"I pour up a lot," raps Lil Wayne on his new and rather transparent track. "Pour Up," set to be featured on DJ Raj Smoove's forthcoming mix tape The Greatest DJ in the World, is Wayne's candid confession. A melancholic ode to addiction, the song is strung along with piano keys and trap beats that set the solemn mood. The Young Money rapper speaks on the physical, mental and relationship troubles that only a vice could cause.

It's not Wayne's best, but from the sounds of it, "Pour Up" is less a single than it is a moment of catharsis.
