UPDATE: Kanye West's rep confirms there is no plan to bring a performance of 808s & Heartbreak to Chicago, saying the entire thing was a mistake by United Center. "This morning, a show featuring Kanye West at United Center was published to Ticketmaster," United Center said in a statement. "Unfortunately, this was done in error, as there are no current plans for a Kanye West show in Chicago. We apologize for the misinformation."

Original Post: "The Coldest Story Ever Told," Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak was an album that produced polarized responses, ruminating after effects and inspired many careers. Like most of West's creative choices, the album sat with audiences and has since circled back every few seasons like the cold winter that came after its November release. West, who recently performed the album in its entirely at the Hollywood Bowl, is seemingly preparing for another 808s performance -- this time in his hometown of Chicago [h/t Pitchfork].
