Rihanna can scratch another line from her bucket list. The pop superstar appears on the second cover of The Fader’s special 100th issue. And she took the photo herself.

The Barbadian singer joins Drake for the cover of the publication’s milestone issue. According to the 16-year-old title, the covershoot in L.A. lasted from morning through night and was orchestrated by The Fader’s contributing photographer Renata Raksha.

“For a selection of images, and for the first time in The Fader's history, Raksha handed Rihanna the shutter release, giving the artist the opportunity to collaborate with the photographer, and snap the second cover of the publication's 100th issue,” a statement from the magazine reads.

RiRi, who recently appeared on the cover of the first free NME, was styled by Shibon Kennedy for her latest shoot. The new cover "captures a raw studio shoot where the reader can actually see the seams of the creative process," according to the Fader. Take a look at the entire photoshoot here.
