Drake & Future to Release Joint Album 'What a Time to Be Alive'

Drake and Future took to Instagram on Saturday, Sept. 19, to confirm that they’ve collaborated on a new album -- and that it will be available very soon. What a Time to Be Alive is scheduled to hit iTunes and Apple Music at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, Sept. 20.

The two rappers also teased that What a Time to Be Alive will be featured on Sunday night’s episode of Drake’s OVO Sound radio show, which airs on Beats 1 at 6 p.m. EST.

The initial news about What a Time to Be Alive came from Drake, who shared artwork and release information, as well as an image of his OVO Sound logo with Future's Freebandz logo to promote the upcoming radio show.

Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late dropped in February, while Future released the album DS2 -- which features the track “Where Ya At?” with Drake -- in July. Future joined Drake on tour in May and June of 2015.
