"It represents who I am as an artist at this moment, so I'm really proud of it," Kyan says of his song "Sometimes." In the soul-baring video, premiering on Billboard below, the U.K. artist matches his stunning vocals with breathtaking, bare-bones visuals.

Directed by Georgia Hudson, the video encircles Kyan with a naked landscape as he sits and sings at a white grand piano. "There's nowhere to hide," he belts. With the North Sea's sand rippling around him and a grey sky behind, Kyan captures the space around with this track

No matter the scene, switching from sand to sunset to sea, "Sometimes" takes center stage. "I wrote [the song] after a messed up relationship, it was kind of my way of dealing with it," he confesses to Billboard. "I decided to go with the original home demo from a live YouTube performance I recorded. It captured all of the emotion I felt when I first wrote the song."

He may be a new name, but Kyan has given us a spellbinding number that speaks volumes. Watch the "Sometimes" video below and revel in the touching soundtrack.
