Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds is back with a new single.

“We’ve Got Love” debuted on Steve Harvey’s nationally syndicated radio show today (Aug. 13). Available for streaming and download on Aug. 14, the song is the lead single from Babyface’s forthcoming Def Jam album, Return of the Tender Lover.

The title of Babyface’s 10th studio project is a nod to the 11-time Grammy winner’s 1989 RIAA-certified triple-platinum album, Tender Lover. The singer/songwriter/musician’s breakthrough sophomore set spun off four R&B/pop crossover hits, including “It’s No Crime” and “Tender Lover” (both No. 1 R&B), plus “Whip Appeal” and “My Kinda Girl.” Return of the Tender Lover will feature eight new original tracks.

“I have been blessed to experience a lot of love in my life,” said Babyface in a release announcing the single and album. “It is the greatest gift in life, and I feel blessed to share that universal message through my music.”

Earlier this year, Babyface and Toni Braxton won a Grammy for best R&B album for the pair’s duet album, Love, Marriage & Divorce. The 2014 Def Jam set, Babyface’s first new studio project in almost seven years, yielded the Adult R&B No. 1 hit “Hurt You.”

Babyface is currently on tour now through October in the U.S. and South Africa. Upcoming stops include the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, Calif. (8/21 with co-headliner Boyz II Men); Cape Town, South Africa (Sept. 1); Johannesburg, South Africa (Sept. 3-4) and the Arizona Jazz Festival in Phoenix (Oct. 23).
