String instruments and hip-hop music can be a risky combination, which is why hearing "Migos" and "symphony" in the same sentence might seem either cringe-worthy or intriguing -- or both.

Yet, the pairing is far less fear-inducing than it might sound; in fact, it is quite a monumental composition. Sometimes, opposites attract, and -- in the case of Migos and an orchestra led by New York composer John Cleary -- the union is nothing short of splendid.

Migos: A Day in the Life at SXSW 2015

Set to release their debut album Young Rich Nation on July 31, the Atlanta rappers reintroduce themselves with this trap-meets-classical rendition of their 2013 track "Hannah Montana." The performance is epic. Fully equipped with bells, violas and drums, the "Trap Symphony" amplifies the otherwise catchy, repetitive signature Migos trap anthem. But don't worry, no trap was lost along the way.
