Dr. Dre's New Beats 1 Show, 'The Pharmacy,' Officially Announced

Through all the big name celebrities getting their own shows on Beats 1, Dr. Dre's program has probably been the most highly anticipated of the bunch. 

Dr. Dre's 'The Chronic' to Be Streamed for the First Time on Apple Music

On Friday, the Apple Music run Beats 1 officially announced Dre's new show, "The Pharmacy," will be premiering Saturday July 4 at 6 p.m. EST. It will run at that same time every week following. 

The hour-long show will hosted by Dre, with a support cast including Eddie Francis, DJ Pooh, Wyann Vaughn and music from DJ Jus Incredible.

It was also announced on Friday that Run the Jewels and Soulection will have their own shows, joining previously announced hosts Drake, Pharrell, St. Vincent, Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age, Q-TipDisclosure, Elton John and Jaden Smith on the station.
