XXL just announced their 2015 Freshman Class yesterday, led by "Trap Queen" hitmaker Fetty Wap. Rounding out the list are DeJ Loaf, GoldLink, K Camp, OG Maco, Raury, Shy Glizzy, Tink, Vince Staples, and Kidd Kidd.

The Freshman Class is a list of hip-hop's hottest up-and-comers, made by the magazine's staff to determine who is "defining the new wave of hip-hop." Some selections are fairly straightforward (it's hard to name rappers more ready for the big time than DeJ Loaf and Fetty), while others are less heralded (so far). One of the selections, Kidd Kidd -- who appeared on Lil Wayne's 2008 hit single "Mrs. Officer" -- was fan-voted.
