Eminem to Release New Single From Shady Records-Produced 'Southpaw' Soundtrack

Eminem just announced his next project, Southpaw (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture), the Shady Records-produced soundtrack for the upcoming film Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The album is scheduled for release this July -- and though there's no track list yet, the first release off the album will be an Eminem project called "Phenomenal," produced by DJ Khalil.

“We have been involved in developing Southpaw since its inception, and Eminem has dedicated himself to ensuring that this film captured his passion for the project through his music," says Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg. "We've assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what's sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever.”
