Looks like a rumored Beyoncé and Drake collaboration may have surfaced earlier than expected -- well, 12 seconds of it at least.

On Sunday, a 12-second clip of a track called “Can I” appeared on Soundcloud, featuring vocals from the duo. In the snippet, Queen Bey begins a few bars with “can I,” before Drizzy rushes in to finish each of the lines. Despite its brevity, the alleged collaboration generated enough activity to reach No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 shortly after the leak occurred.

Billboard has reached out to representatives of both artists for comment.

Has Drake Recorded a Collab with Beyonce?

Drake has previously suggested a future track with Mrs. Carter is in the works. In an extensive interview with the rapper in April, Four Pins reported that one cut from the Canadian MC’s upcoming Views From the 6 album “is a collaboration with Beyoncé that he recorded a while ago.”

The pair last teamed up together for “Mine,” from Beyoncé’s 2013 self-titled album.
