Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth only met weeks ago, but on a recent sunny afternoon in New York, they already seemed like the best of friends: they’re playing foosball, cracking jokes, passing a blunt back and forth, and hanging with Khalifa’s adorable dog (Vincent aka Vinny Boo) in his penthouse duplex suite at the swanky Gansevoort Park Avenue hotel. And who can blame them? After all, the pair’s smash single from the Furious 7, “See You Again,” is the biggest song in the U.S.-- topping the Hot 100 for four weeks -- and, most likely, the world.

“We’re no. 1 in in 91 countries,” Wiz Khalifa says, awestruck.

“94,” Puth corrects him.

“I don’t know how many countries there are in the world but that’s a lot,” Wiz replies.

Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth: The Billboard Shoot

In this exclusive video for their Billboard shoot, filmed shortly after the pair finished a rehearsal for their Saturday Night Live appearance on May 2, Khalifa and Puth explain how their unlikely hit, a tribute to actor Paul Walker, came together and why they’re bringing back the “rap ballad” -- before harmonizing on the last huge tribute song, Diddy’s "I’ll Be Missing You” featuring Faith Evans and 112. Should Wiz keep his day job? You be the judge. Watch below.
