Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly Returns To Essence Festival

Maze featuring Frankie Beverly will close out the Essence Festival’s July 3 tribute to the city of New Orleans in recognition of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

The special tribute also marks the popular R&B group’s return to the Essence Festival stage. A festival closing night staple for many years, Beverly and crew’s last performance on that stage was in 2009.

Among the acts rounding out the four-day festival’s all-star lineup at the Superdome (July 2-5) are Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Missy Elliott, Charlie Wilson, Erykah Badu, Common and Kevin Hart
