After a triumphant set at Milk Music Lounge during SXSW, A$AP Rocky revealed to Billboard that his next studio album would be named A.L.L.A. and that it would include collaborators like FKA Twigs, Lykke Li, and Clams Casino. Well, now we know what A.L.L.A. stands for.

He told GQ

"I'm claiming ownership of my legacy. Look at it: At.Long.Last.A$AP. A-L-L-A. Like slang for 'Allah.' It's the return of the god MC. I'm named after Rakim, and I'm finally facing what it means: I was born to do this shit. And I hope I get to do it for a very long time." FYI, the rap legend Rakim also goes by Rakim Allah, and Rocky's real name is Rakim Meyers.

Rocky worked on his forthcoming album at London's Red Bull Studios and Los Angeles' Sound Factory. The GQ interview also revealed it features an unknown British musician named Joe Fox, who apparently plays acoustic guitar. "We were literally wandering the streets at 4 a.m. on a Tuesday and this guy walked up holding a guitar," A$AP collaborator Hector Delgado says of their meeting.

A.L.L.A. was executive produced by Danger Mouse and the late A$AP Yams. It currently has no official release date, but is expected to be released in 2015.
