Suge Knight Involved in Fatal Hit & Run

Suge Knight got into a fight on a set in Compton, Calif., on Thursday (Jan. 29), after which he backed up his car and struck two men in a fatal hit-and-run, according to TMZ.

The incident occurred at a promotional shoot for the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter

Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who are both producers on the film, were reportedly present, along with the Game, reports TMZ. The website also states when Knight showed up, a fight broke out between him and two crew members. He then allegedly got back into his car and reversed it into two bystanders. 

Suge Knight Hospitalized After Fall in Las Vegas Jail 

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department released a statement reporting the two victims were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. There, a male adult was pronounced dead. The second victim is in unknown condition. The LASD is saying there is no suspect information at this time.

TMZ is reporting the victim is the actor Terry Carter, who has appeared on the TV series McCloud and the original Battlestar Galactica. Actor Cle "Bone" Sloan was reportedly also hit and received non-life-threatening injuries. 

Knight's attorney, James Blatt, confirmed the incident to Billboard. "Facts are all over the place right now," Blatt said; he is currently waiting for a preliminary investigation for more information. He would not comment further.
