John Legend & Common to Perform 'Glory' at Oscars

John Legend is not only up for his first Academy Award nomination for the Selma theme song "Glory," featuring Common, but both will also be performing the song at the award show on February 22.

"I'm so honored to announce that @TheAcademy invited me and @common to perform at the #Oscars on Feb. 22," Legend tweeted on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

"I just know we would want to deliver the best performance possible," John Legend told Billboard, before the Academy Awards had extended an invitation.

Common and John Legend have taken home a Golden Globe award and Critics' Choice award for "Glory." Besides performing at the Oscars, they'll be performing at the Grammys on Feb. 8.
