In addition to editing the paper's Confidenti@l section, Fif will answer reader questions live from the newsroom.

Next week, 50 Cent is going to get scoops or die tryin'.

On Tuesday, the rapper will take over the New York Daily News and its Confidenti@l column for the day, choosing photos, writing up items and even attending the news meeting.

"Tables are turning on Tuesday at the New York Daily News, I'll be choosing the content!" 50 said in a statement to Billboard. "Everyone better get ready."

Fif will be fresh off his time rubbing elbows with fellow celebs at Sunday's Golden Globes and the Television Critics Association press tour, and he promised he'll bring back some serious scoop from the weekend. "He's coming to work, and he's going to be the man in charge," Raakhee Mirchandani, managing editor of features, told Billboard. Maybe some of 50's famous friends will be along for the ride too: "We're hoping for a little Chelsea Handler Skype or email action."

Readers can get involved by sending questions to Editor Cent for a live web chat from the newsroom Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. ET. Submit questions here, or tweet using the hashtag #NYDNChat.

50 himself is pumped to get out his red pen, Instagramming a photo of the Daily News' Friday front page with the caption "I'm taking over."
