Drake Presents His 'Hood Grammys' on Instagram

Drake dropped his own "Hood Grammys" on the world Sunday with five Instagram posts, giving props to his favorite rap releases from the past year.

The hip-hop star began by honoring Bobby Shmurda with "Vocal Performance of the Year," posting an image of a Grammy saying "we need it."

The idea progressed then with nods to Rae Sremmurd and Rich Gang for their respective hits "No Flex Zone" and "Lifestyle," again posting the Grammys award image. He laughed, "haaaaa Grammy's need to have a rap year. Run it up."

By the next installment, the idea had materialized fully into the "#HoodGrammys" hashtag, shouting out OG Maco ft. Key! on "U Guessed It" for "best all around turn up..."

From there, Dreezy awarded two of his OVO-signees, ILOVEMAKONNEN and PARTYNEXTDOOR. ILOVEMAKONNEN for the track "Tuesday," which features Drake, with "Best Latin Club Anthem" and PARTYNEXTDOOR with "Mixtape of the Year" for PARTYNEXTDOOR Two.
