Tyler the Creator performs during day 3 of the 2014 Governors Ball Music Festival at Randall's Island on June 8, 2014 in New York City.

Tyler, the Creator was on the Los Angeles station KTLA on Tuesday (Sept. 23) promoting the upcoming Odd Future-branded Camp Flog Gnaw fest when he decided to unleash a little Odd Future-branded hilarity.

A couple of minutes into a routine Q&A sesh with the KTLA Morning News squad, Tyler proclaims it's "birthday time" and signals out confetti, noisemakers, a cake and a cameo from Odd Future’s Jasper Dolphin.

Only it wasn't anyone's birthday. This one's pretty tame compared to Tyler's prank repertoire, but it's pretty funny nonetheless. Tyler also spoke about the origin of Odd Future, his clothing line and designing the layout of the festival.

And since they got our attention, we'll throw some love to Camp Flog Gnaw too. The third annual running of the fest is set for Nov. 8 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Pharrell is headlining, along with Tyler, Rick Ross, Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt and more.
