UPDATE: An earlier version of this story stated Vic Mensa's "Street Lightz" EP is coming out on July 27. "Street Lightz" does not have a release date. The single "Down on My Luck" is being released on July 27 in the United Kingdom.

Only three hours after Vic Mensa dropped the music video for "Feel That" on MTV Wednesday morning (July 16), the song appeared on the Billboard Trending 140 at No. 1. "Feel That" is set to appear on Mensa's "Street Lights" EP, along with previously released album single "Down On My Luck."

The video stars Vic Mensa in a fun-induced coma, with an appearance by Chance The Rapper. The video's high energy is reflected in the lyrics and up-beat production.

The creative process behind the making of "Feel That" happened by accident – as most great songs do – while Mensa and Smoko Ono were together in the studio, according to MTV. "I see music in colors and this is one was like green, orange, purple, dark hues and that’s what the video is," Mensa said.

The single follows Mensa’s 2013 "Innanetape," co-produced with Peter Cottontale and Cam Osteen (of the J.U.S.T.I.C.E League).

The Chicago rapper continues his steady movement to the top with "Feel That."

Mensa will be performing on “Wild ‘N Out” this evening (July 16) at 11 p.m. EST.
