Destiny's Child Reunites for Michelle Williams Solo Track & Music Video: Listen
Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Solange have all teamed up on Michelle Williams’ “Say Yes” off her latest solo effort, “Journey to Freedom”.
For the Destiny’s Child trio it’s the third track they’ve released since the group split in 2006, following “Nuclear" from their “Love Songs” compilation and “You’ve Changed” from Rowland’s solo disc “Talk a Good Game” last year. Now, with Beyoncé’s sister Solange, the team’s back together for a remix of the Nigerian gospel song “When Jesus Says Yes”.
The track is a peppy number that blends some contemporary EDM effects with the upbeat swing of West African gospel. Listen below:
According to Miss Info, the three singer also recently shot a video together.
Last February, the trio briefly reunited during Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime show performance.
This summer, Williams will tour arenas alongside the likes of Incubus' Brandon Boyd and JC Chasez as a star in "Jesus Christ Superstar."
