Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning (Oct. 27) for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel.

According to TMZ, Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel after leaving a party he was hosting at the nearby Park and 14th nightclub. Sources say Chris punched the alleged victim in the face after hurling a gay slur.

According to the report, a woman approached Brown in front of the W Hotel around 4:30 a.m. and asked to take a picture with him. As the pic was about to be taken, two men rushed over to get in the shot. At that point, Brown allegedly said, "I'm not into this gay s**t, I'm into boxing," and threw a punch at the victim in question. Brown's bodyguard became involved in the fight and was also arrested.

Brown, who did not appear to be under the influence of anything at the time of the incident, according to TMZ, is currently in custody. The alleged victim is reportedly being evaluated at a D.C. hospital.

Brown is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009. If last night's incident is seen as a violation of his probation, Brown could be sentenced to prison for nearly 4 years.
