Miley Cyrus Tests Her Rapping Skills On Mike Will Made It's '23': Listen
Before she twerked up a cultural controversy at the 2013 VMAs, Billboard was examined Miley Cyrus' growing fascination with hip-hop.
We're not too surprised that she's now testing out her rhyming skills on Mike Will Made It's "23." Miley's verse opens the song, and her sung hook bookends verses by Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J. And, of course, Miley is going for the club banger, dissing lames and announcing she's "MC Hammer fly, you can't touch."
Listen to "Made It" below:
It's been a busy news week for the singer who was once gleefully sang, "And the Jay-Z song is on!" Yesterday (Sept. 9), Miley released the official music video for "Wrecking Ball," surely inspiring many naked ball swinging and sledgehammer licking jokes in the process. Shortly after, "SNL" announced she'd be serving as host and musical guest on the Oct. 5 episode of the new season. Today (Sept. 10), MTV announced that a one-hour documentary called "Miley: The Movement," chronicling her recent (and drastic) evolution, will debut Oct. 2.
Days after the documentary debut, Miley Cyrus' highly anticipated album, "Bangerz," arrives Oct. 8.
