Jay Z's "Holy Grail" (featuring Justin Timberlake) has overtaken Billboard's Song of the Summer, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (featuring T.I. and Pharrell), on the Rhythmic airplay chart. After camping out at No. 2 for the last two weeks of Thicke's 10-week reign, "Grail" moves to the top to become Jay Z's seventh No. 1 on the Nielsen BDS-based ranking and Timberlake's fourth.
All charts, including Rhythmic (viewable on Billboard.biz), will be refreshed on Thursday (Sept. 12).
The Legends of the Summer tour mates' last No. 1 on the list also came jointly, via Timberlake's "Suit & Tie," which logged two weeks at the summit in April.
