Jay Z, Justin Timberlake's 'Holy Grail' Tops Rhythmic Airplay Chart

Jay Z's "Holy Grail" (featuring Justin Timberlake) has overtaken Billboard's Song of the Summer, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (featuring T.I. and Pharrell), on the Rhythmic airplay chart. After camping out at No. 2 for the last two weeks of Thicke's 10-week reign,"Holy Grail" moves to the top to become Jay Z's seventh No. 1 on the Nielsen BDS-based ranking and Timberlake's fourth.
All charts, including Rhythmic (viewable on Billboard.biz), will be refreshed on Thursday (Sept. 12).

The Legends of the Summer tour mates' last No. 1 on the list also came jointly, via Timberlake's "Suit & Tie," which logged two weeks at the summit in April.

Jay Z Announces Magna Carter World Tour North American Dates

"Holy Grail" has reached No. 5 to date on the airplay/sales/streaming-based Billboard Hot 100 and has sold 1.4 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Having spent eight weeks on the Billboard 200, including its first two at No. 1, "Grail" parent album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" has sold 937,000 copies in the U.S., according to SoundScan.
Jay Z will embark on his Magna Carter World Tour this fall, with the first of 34 American dates on Nov. 30 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
