Travis Porter's Strap Arrested For Gun Possession

Travis Porter Talk 'From Day 1' Album, Short Film & Chart Success

Strap, of Travis Porter, was arrested this morning (Feb. 15), for attempting to get through security at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with a firearm.

Strap, born Harold Duncan, entered booking at 11:16 a.m. according to HipHopDX. MTV reports that Duncan has been "transferred to Clayton County Jail in Jonesboro, Georgia." Travis Porter were on their way to New York to promote their recently released mixtape, "Music, Money and Magnums" (Feb. 2). The trio were scheduled to host an event tonight at Club Chrystie 141, alongside 2DopeBoyz' DJ Meka and You Heard That New's LowKey, as well as perform at Yale University in New Haven, CT on Friday (Feb.17).

The trio, including step brothers Ali and Quez, has been a powerful force out Atlanta for three years now, producing music with prominent artists such as Waka Flocka Flame, Tyga, Wale, Kelly Rowland, and Jeremih.

Before the news hit the 'net, Travis Porter dropped behind-the-scene footage of their newest music video for "Ayy Ladies" feat. Tyga, with cameos from Chris Brown and Meek Mill. "Ayy Ladies," off Differenter 3, is currently No. 45 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
