Mentally Ill Man Breaks into Diddy's East Hampton Home

Diddy has been having an unexpected house guest.

In the early hours of April 1, Jamaica, Queens native Quamine Taylor, 30, reportedly made his way into Sean "Diddy" Combs' East Hampton residence through an unlocked basement door. Combs had been away at the time, allowing Taylor to enjoy Combs' mansion until the following afternoon.

Taylor allegedly paraded through Combs' mansion, eating his food and drinking his top-shelf liquor. Police also said Taylor wore Combs' clothes - though not successfully: at 6'5", Taylor is about five inches taller than Combs.

During his stay, he set off an alarm that caused a cop and a security representative to arrive at the estate just after 1 a.m. However, he convinced them that he was a part of Combs' crew. However, at 4:45 p.m. on April Fools Day, a caretaker called Taylor on his bluff and the game was over.

When questioned by New York Post, Taylor admitted that he not only trespassing on the premise but also had been doing so over the past ten years.

"I've actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001," Taylor said to The Post at a visit to the Suffolk County Jail.

Indeed, Taylor was arrested in 2001 for same crime. The cops found him intoxicated after he took a swim in Combs' swimming pool. He told the police he was the rap mogul's cousin.

"I really didn't go to Diddy's house because I'm a big fan of his. I just wanted to get out of the city for a while. I was actually hoping to stay like 15 to 17 days," he said.

Taylor's mother disclosed that her son suffers from mental illness and recently discontinued medical treatment. Taylor is charged with trespassing and petit-larceny and is being held on a $2,000 bail.
