Pusha T Recruits Kanye West, Young Jeezy for 'Amen': Listen

Pusha T Talks 'Fear of God II,' His Top Five 2011 Singles

Clipse rapper Pusha T continues the lead-up to his "Fear of God: Let Us Pray" EP by releasing "Amen," a new track featuring his G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West and Young Jeezy. The song was posted on the G.O.O.D. Music blog on Monday (Aug. 16).

The straightforward track finds the three MCs mixing earnest prayer with violent wordplay: "Lord forgive my sins and all my friends/Dollars make sense, I'm trying to get paid," West sing-raps before Pusha begins his verse with, "Tryna get saved (too late)/Time to get paid/Got a gun and a stocking mask/N---as thought I was trying to get waves." Jeezy, who will release his own "TM 103" on Sept. 20, later lumbers in and brags about his "extraordinary wrist" in his signature drawl.

The "Fear of God: Let Us Pray" EP will follow the March release of "Fear of God," Pusha's first mixtape as a solo artist. Meanwhile, the rapper discussed the flashy list of collaborators for his proper debut album, "Black Friday," with Billboard.com in June.

"It's executive-produced by Kanye, and we're reaching out to quite a few producers -- Pharrell [Williams], Kanye, Bangladesh, Nottz," the rapper said of "Black Friday." "I'm just excited about the body of work as a whole. There's a lot of good creative energy around the project, so I don't think it can go wrong."
