Jay-Z and Kanye West Perform 'Otis' on 2011 MTV VMAs: Watch

Jay-Z and Kanye West ripped through a performance of "Otis," complete with an American flag backdrop and giant jets of fire.

The rumors were true! Kanye West and Jay-Z hit the 2011 MTV VMAs stage to perform "Otis" off their Billboard 200 No. 1 album, "Watch the Throne," for the first time since the album's release.

Pyro lights, reminiscent to the official video, lit the stage as West, in a tie dye denim shirt, and Jay, in a crisp white tee, spit "luxury rap" off their first single.

The Throne's performance came minutes after Beyoncé announced her pregnancy on the black carpet. "OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!! twitpic.com/6cva18," MTV tweeted. Bey' is set to rock the stage in minutes.
